Automatically go to inbox when opening mail file

How can I force Lotus Notes 6.5 (client and mail template) to open to the Inbox automatically when opening the mail file? Right now it's opening up to the Sent folder no matter what I last had opened upon closing the mail file the last time.

What are the Properties of the database set to ?

If you open the Properties dialog box in the mailbox, and choose Database, you can then open the third tab from the right (icon looks like an inkpen) and then you can choose the behavior of the database on open.

The default values are "Open designated Frameset" followed by "Index".

What I ended up doing was to change that particular property entry to "Restore as last viewed by user". Index was not an option under "Open designated frameset". That at least works to get her directly to the Inbox, however it created another problem in the process. Now the quick bar at the the bottom of the folder view is gone. How do I bring that back? Here's a SS of what is missing...

I think you need to refresh the design of the user's mail db.
Go to File/Database/Refresh Design, choose the server as template location, and validate.

If the problem persists, do Replace Design instead of a Refresh.
