I would like to open a workbook in Excel with macros, and not have to answer the question "Do you want to enable macros...?"

Is it possible to setup a workbook to simply open with out having the choice of enabling macros?
Can the settings be changed within a specific workbook, or does it have to happen to the program?

Thank you,

The only way the settings could be changed within a specific workbook, would be by the use of a macro which could not be run without getting the ok. So a vicious circle ensues. If you think about it, the security would be useless if it was possible to bypass it so easily.

Your best bet is to set up a digital signature and sign the the project with it. The first time code is opened with the signature you get the oppertunity to allow all workbooks signed with the same signature to open without the warning.

Thank you for your help.

I will definitely try the digital signatures.
