Automatically clean temp files?

Hello guys,
Does anyone know of a good way to automatically have users
temp files cleaned without their intervention, say once a
month? We can't seem to get our users to do this,then they
call in and complain of slow machines.
Any ideas really appreciated

You could add a few DEL commands to the login script or put a line to call a *.bat file in the startup group or the RUN branch of the registry. This way the PC would clean itself up every time you reboot.

The registry location is HKey_Local_Machine\Software\microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Just add a string value that points to the batch file containing the DEL commands.
 
For the batch files you may want to take a look at some that are already created at
Fred Langa is one the industry well known PC columnists and wrote a slew of articles on this subject and offered these free batch files. joegz
