This may be a really easy question, but I am a bit rusty on Exchange 5.5...

I am setting up another domain in Exchange and want to have another SMTP address added for it - and have it set as primary.

I know that I need to add that domain into the IMC and set it to route inbound, but I can't seem to find a way to add the new domain name/SMTP address globally.

What we have now:

Email Address: bsmith@abc.com

What we need to add:

Email Address Bubba.Smith@xyz.com

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OK, So you have added the domain as inbound on the IMC, You now need to go into configuration>>>site addressing and add another smtp entry. once you have done this it will start a process to update all mailboxes.

Hope this helps.

Actually, that is where the weirdness is - 'Add' is not an available option. :(

Have you stopped and started the IMC after you added the second route inbound?

Actually, after looking at this article on MS

Im not sure you can do it with the admin program.

Are you talking about the Internet Mail Service?
