Hi,
When using Automatic Updates, if I want to push out the SP4 out to a MS Cluster with 2 nodes.

Should I be doing this only on the active node on the cluster ? And let it replicate the update to the passive node.

Or do I do this to the virtual node as well ?

thanks.

Hi

I usually just push it out to all 3 or else you have to do the following;-

'If updates are installed in a clustered environment, the registry keys on passive nodes will not be automatically updated during the installation. In order to update the passive node with the latest update information, in the time most convenient for you, you must failover to the passive node, and then run the CommCell Summary report with the Update Service Pack Information option enabled. This will synchronize the registry of the passive node with the most up-to-date update information.'

thanks Birky

I'll send the update out to all 3 in the commcell.

regards
