Automatic update of LMHOSTS files

Hi there,

I hope you can help me. We are in the process of doing a network upgrade which involves changing some of the server IP addresses. However we have about 30ish users who use laptaps and LMHOST files. Is there a way to somehow automatically update all these machines? I've tried to do a GPO but cant see get it to work.

Any ideas most welcome.

This guy has tons of scripts on his site. Just do a FIND for LMHOSTS.

Disclaimer - You will probably have to tweak his script a bit to fit your needs, but it's a start.
