First post and I apologize if I'm not doing this correctly!
I inherited a Nortel Norstar T7316 system and I think I've figured out most of the programming and feature functions. I have several phones here that will not automatically pick up a ringing line, instead it keeps ringing until the person pushes the button on the ringing line. I saw the above thread but I am still too much of a dummy to understand how to put that into action. Can anybody pretty please give me the "for dummies" line by line of how to make these phones automatically select a ringing line when picking up the handset.

One other separate less pressing issue is that on 2 of my phones, when I go to select my line 3, the display says "Forward To:" The other 2 lines work as normal.
Again I'm sorry if there's an etiquette thing I'm not following here but I have tried every google search I can.

Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're My Only Hope! Thank you so much!

This is a tip forum, not a train forum so we can only go so far.
There is admin programming for date/time/capabilities etc and technician/vendor programming for configuration/lines/services etc.

If the line is set to appear only then you have to press the line to answer it, so make it appear and ring.
If the button says Call Forward instead of Line X then program Line X to it.

You can read up on the system by searching for Norstar Installer Guide for tech programming and Norstar System Coordinator Guide for admin programming.
There are different flavours of Norstar so you need to find out which one you have, older software is a different programming layout.

Thank you, I appreciate it. My employees are super annoyed with this so I was reaching out anywhere I could think of and I have had no luck with what I've tried. I will search these guides; it helps to have somewhere to begin!
