Hello,

How to make automatic redial (after busy or no answer to external number) with an analog phone?

I´m studying Nortels-pdf-Documents with Helmsman but I find only the ARDL-Feature for digital sets.

i hope they have addressed that but the last time i looked it up, it would work on all trunks busy not on a far end busy. lna on a digital is almost automatic.. just lna in cls, then press the line key twice. if no one here is using it, i'll try adding it to a analog at work and see how close i can come, have you looked at the ffc tables (ld 57) to see if there is even a feature code for that? usually if i'm not sure i run through the responses there.. very small chance of the feature being possible without a feature code.

Hi,
REQ: CHG
TYPE: 500
TN: xx xx xx xx
ECHG: YES
HUNT 1111 (When busy)
CLS HTA FNA
FTR FDN 2222
...
HTA (to activate hunting)
FNA (forward no-answer)

When it busy then the call goes to 1111 and when there is no answer it goes to 2222.

I think it's called ring again for analog sets, but I can't remeber if it's internal only or both Internal and External. I'll look it up.
it is spre 1.

I'm sorry. I think I read your post wrong. You want last number redial. It is spre 89 for an analog set. on the set you will need LNA in Cls and set LNRS (Last number redial size) to a number large enough to accomodate the numbers you will be calling.

thank you. But now the absolute beginner-question. SPRE 89! Does it mean to lift the handset and then to press *89# ?

your spree code is unique to your switch, default is 1, ld 21 prt cdb and search for spre
