Hi All,

My enviroment runs Exchange 2003 and Outlook 2003.
I'd like to automate the creation of email profiles on my client machines. Problem is I can't find a utility that will support this. In the past I've used newprof.exe but this doesn't seem to function with OL2003. Can someone point me in the right direction? Does Microsoft have such a utility for this version of Outlook? Help is always appreciated.

Thanks

Hi and Thanks,

I tried to run this in the 2003 enviroment and seem to have some issues.
Could you show me a script you'd use as an example.

I haven't used this for a while, unfortunately I don't have any proven scripts. One of my clients used this extensively, but I don't access to their systems any more :(

You can do it automatically via the Office Resource Kit and a Maintenance Installation. That's how we typically do it. Then just call the .msi in a login script.

Thanks 58sniper,

Unfortunately the tools in the ORK for 2003 don't include newprof.exe for automatic profile generation. Microsoft nixed it after 2000, unless you use something else? Can you expand on your comments are you running a 2003 environment?

Thanks
