I was searching around the forums for an automated ANI solution to identify unknown sets and analog ports.

There were a few ideas here on the forums that got me going, of which I would like to thank those that have posted information on this issue, into making something that will work with a Callpilot, SCCS/CCM combination, I have not tried this with an MM as I don't have access to one. I hope that this is be helpful to some of you out there as it has been for me.

The attached link for the zip file includes instructions and wav files to get a fully functional ANI up and running.

Please keep in mind that the instructions assume the user is already comfortable with CDN's, App Builder and Scripting.

I apologize in advance if I missed something or this has been posted before and I am open to any questions/suggestions/criticisms that you may have.

Thanks!

I agree GH, this guy deserves another star

First, thanks for the praise all, I'm glad this has been helpful.

My beginning suggestions for those that are having issues would be to double check the voice segment variables to make sure that they are all pointing to the appropriate application and voice item ID in CP file1:0...file1:109, and to double check that the wav files were imported to each voice item (when I first installed this script I had found that I forgot to import them).

jim, pls post the list of values for one of your script variablies

John,

The values for for all the voice segment variables used in this script should look like:

Variable Value

c_zero_gv file1:1
c_one_gv file1:2
c_two_gv file1:3
c_three_gv file1:4
c_four_gv file1:5
c_five_gv file1:6
c_six_gv file1:7
c_seven_gv file1:8
c_eight_gv file1:9
c_nine_gv file1:10
c_ani_hello file1:107
c_ani_repeat file1:108
c_ani_goodbye file1:109

were do i ref the app id or app name in the symposium..

PLAY PROMPT VOICE SEGMENT c_ani_hello NUMBERBYDIGIT CLID

c_ani_hello being the new variable.. it does point to file1, But the default var pointed to file one prior to this add.. so i've lost the link... ?

John...I'm not sure I understand the issue.

The app name and app ID is referenced in symposium via the created voice segment variable with the value set as "appname:appid" i.e. the value in the voice segment variable c_ani_hello is file1:107

What version of symposium are you working with? SECCS, SCCS, CCM?

that is in place.. sccs, very early rls.. thanks, i found my problem.. headspace error

John, Is it working for you then?

Did you find anything for the older release that I may need to add/adjust?

Thanks!

no, i am the older rls in this case.. the cdn in my master script needed to match the one i had acquired..
