Using Exchange 2000 with Outlook 2000

I need to setup a mailbox to send an automatic notification to 2 other mailboxes when it receives a new message.

Example

message is received by a generic sales@blah.blah, a notification then needs to be sent to jane@blah.blah and john@blah.blah for them to check the sales mailbox.

Can this be done??

Why don't you just create a group, mail enable it, then include jane and john in the group, so they both get the mail?

Or, better yet, just give john and jane access rights to sales and add that to their Outlook profile?

It just means my answers are from experience, not a book.

They already have access to the mailbox to view and reply in outlook, but what they are after is a notification that that mailbox has received email.

Notifications are set in Outlook, not on Exchange level.
