Automatic Login to Sharepoint

Hi,

Here is my problem. The users are already authenticated against LDAP on a different network. From there they are being redirected to our sharepoint website. All they pass is their username. We have our Sharepoint configured to connect to our AD. The password is going to be same for all the users. How can I connect to our sharepoint site without prompting them to enter the username and password.

I get pass logging into my sharepoint every time bu having it bookmarked and then when wanting to access it i go to my bookmarks and it automatically goes there and i am log in.

Hi elizabetht,

Most probably you are on the same domain. In my case the users are authenticated against a different LDAP, and the SSO (Sun Access Manager authenticates and redirects them to our site. So even if the users book marks the page it is not going to work.

I take it an anonymous won't work. I have a few ideas about saving passwords in computers, but they would have to configure their machines. It would probably be possible to send out a memo with the configuration:
