Automatic image swapping on loading of page

Hello,

I'm not sure I'm even in the right forum, but I'm just wondering how could i swap a series of images (jpg's) one after another (possibly cycle thru a list) on page startup??

I know how to do a mouse/roll-over, but i want this to occur automatically when the page loads up!

Any suggestions or resources I can receive would be greatly appreciated
