Automatic Dial on Handset pickup

OK.. this may be a silly question.. but I am at a loss... is there a way to have a phone automatically dial an extension when the set is pickup up? so the user does not have to dial anything?

a bit of background. I have setup a callpilot application to do dial by name... this application can be reached by dialing extension 6700... I creted this application for our reception area as our building is secure and instead of having a list by the phone in reception, people can use the application to dial by the name of the person they are looking for. I want to simplify the process by auto dialing the application as soon as the handset is picked up?

any help would be appreciated.

analog or digital?

On digital key 0 hot d 4 6700

4 is number of digits to dial and 6700 looks like your vm cdn
