Help! I need to be able to write a batch file (or something else that will do the job) to enable a shortcut to do a "Run As" command. I know you can go to the properties of the shortcut and tick the "Run as a different user" box, but I also need the batch file to automatically put in the username, password and domain details and OK it. this means, when the user clicks on the shortcut, they don't even have to know what the username or password is to be able to run the program.

Hope this makes sense! We are desperate here for an answer and would appreciate any help!

Thanks
Rich

This has been covered before in this forum - consensus was you need third party software to be able to automate username & password supplied (runas command always prompts).

Yes, I have now found TQCRunAs and that works
