Automated CF Script Help?

Can anyone advise how to automate the starting of a cfm programme. The intention is that the programme I have written with tidy up a database and collect cfpop mail for nightly processing. I don't know where to start to look for help with this problem.

Some help would be much appreciated.

Graham,

Have a look in your cf administrator at the scheduled tasks pane. You can get CF to run a script at a specific time anytime of the day.

If you don't have access to the cf administrator, then you can use the cfschedule tag. Be warned with this tag that the date is in american date format. Caught me out a few times that one!
