Automated Attendant

I'm new to this system and the guides seem a little confusing. How do you set up the automated attendant? I want it to pick up on the first ring and have options like "to speak to blah press 2". If anyone could help me I would really appreciate it.

What type/model of voicemail do you have - they are all different somewhat in how an autoattendant would be setup. You should also visit the Avaya.com website - click on the word "documentation" (2 lines under the GET SUPPORT heading. When you get the alphabet bar - click on P - and scroll down to the voicemail type you have - and/or click on Partner ACS (if you have the Voicemail PC Card). Then click on View all Documents.

Now download the appropriate manuals/user guides - so you know what to do.
