I am having a irratating problem with my automated attendant. I have everything set up so that AA only picks up when night service button is on. (only want on at night) I have it set up so that I have two selector codes that are used. I have "1,4,5,6,7,8,9" as unused so that extension numbers may be entered to go straight to VMS. "2" I am using for my "regular business hours" I just want it to play a message stating our hours and then give them the option to hangup or press 0 for Appoint sched VM. I have sector code set for direct ext tnsf to ext 41 (unused extension with mailbox 5 attached) I recorded the message I want on the VMS system under X41. and have the call answer mode set to answer only. I have selector "3" set up the exact same way for ext 40. however once I call in and hit 2 or 3 it transfers me to the VMS saying that my party cannot be reached and to transfer to another ext press *8. I do not konw what I have done wrong. but it will not play the recorded message for either ext 40 or 41 in the AA mode.
