Hi all,

I have a client that needs to transfer calls from reception to THEIR clients mobiles. I want to set up a speed dial BLF in Softconsole to automate it for them. I've added the "Set Account Code" Short Code (11*N#) and I want to append this with the mobile number to dial, but the IP Office just returns "Waiting for Line". It's a 412 running 4.1.15 with a softconsole running 4.1.7.

Any clues?

Thanks

Ooooooorrrrrrrrrrrr................

Just thought of maybe another way..........setting up dummy extn that is set to forward unconditional to the mobile number. Then the call management software could pick up the outgoing call as if it was from the dummy extn and the client could then be charged for the call?????

yes to option 2. but for smdr make sure you use 4.2 and output via the IP Office and not to use Delta. Delta will not show the call forward.

Also, if the call is answered by a group, e.g. 500 and transferred to a user the output will show as the group 500 making the call.

What I do is create a group for each incoming route unique to the customer.

If you are referring to call accounting software that uses Delta server then you may be out of luck as Delta server does not log forwarded calls against any users. Silly I know but true, we have struggled with this for years.
