Has anyone figured out how to get Reporter 4.3 to automatically generate reports?

I would like it to automatically generate and print a few reports on a scheduled basis.

Any ideas?

HIya,
Unfortunately there is no functionality to produce "scheduled" reports with Snifer Reporter, the only reports that you can produce are "on-demand", as you know doubt know!
If using Sniffer Distributed appliances, there is a long-term reporting tool called nPO Visualizer, which can produce "scheduled" reports.

Patrick,
Reporter is only a rudimentary short term solution.
For advanced features, Visualizer is the way to go. Maybe you can take a look at the feature set and possibly get an eval version?
Ravi.

If nPo Visualizer proves to be too costly.... check out netmon2.com - a little bird told me that the Visualizer engine is actually licensed from them - not sure of their pricing but it's worth a look. Since Reporter is based in some way on Crystal reports (or so I understand), perhaps it'ss possible to pull the reports into a non-NAI application for automated output? Worth checking into.

The reporter data is stored in MDB. I think reports can be pulled out from that.

HI,
For your reference Sniffer Reporter takes the information from the database located in the following areas;
For Portable;
C:\Program Files\NAI\SnifferNT\Program\Local<profile name>\<dated folder>
For Distributed
c:\program files\nai\dsproagentnt\program\<Network Card> \<dated folder>
I'm sure you can find some sort of automating ftp service, to retreive these csv files.
