Can the logon to Citrix be automated and so it the submission of the program? This is through the client..

BTW, I do not have the client installed on my PC. I'm trying to figure it out on someone else PC. I'm working on a project that requires a data extract through Citrix. Currently, it is being manually handled.

Thanks!

The data extract is accomplished through Crystal Report. What is does it create a pipe delimited file.. What I want to achieve is use Citrix to login to a HR outsourcing company to execute the Crystal report and pull the file down to a network directory..

What other details do you need?

Ok, I think you can automate everything EXCEPT the actual log in! Everything else you can execute via a GPO or a script.

Don't take my word for it, but I really can't think of any way to automate the Citrix Login...

Good luck-!

Isn't there something like recording program where it records your keystrokes and the playback can be automated by executing the saved script?

Can't think of any other way either other than what bran2235 had already mentioned. The only service that records keystroke and possibly playback functions in citrix is the installation manager--packager services as far as I'm aware off.
