I've been working with Access for some years and just now found this little gem.
There is an "AutoLookUp Query" that automatically fills in data from the "one side" table in a relationship when the join field of the "many side" table is entered in the form (query).
"AutoLookUp" is not in the Help Index. You can see the help article by entering the following question after selecting the "Answer" tab in Help:
"How do I synchronize two combo boxes?"
Then highlight the selection at or near the bottom of the list that refers to creating an AutoLookup query and click on it.
Maybe I'm the only one who didn't know about this, but if it helps even one other I'll be pleased.
Cheers,[/tt]
