autoincrement in a querry

In a querry I want the records to start from a number other than 1 and then autoincrement by 1.
When we click on to run the querry, a screen should popup asking what number you want to give to first record and then autoincrement by one.
I need a SQL syntax for this.
Could someone help me

The procedure on those web pages is regarding, changing the autoincrement number in table not in querry
 
I'm sorry, I misunderstood the question. I have a sample database that does what you're talking about that I can send you if you provide an email address. You can also view the web page that I based my sample on here:


That page doesn't do exactly what you're looking for, but it can be adapted, which is what I did in my sample.
