Autocorrect Error Message in Exel 2000

A user where I work is getting an error message when he goes to enter data into a cell in Excel 2000? An autocorrect error message and it won't allow him to enter data. Any suggestions? He has removed and reinstalled Office 2000 Professional a bunch of times. It installs, but it takes a long time for some reason and it says he is missing a dll file, I believe ptk.dll and while it is installing, a red x appears over his cd-rom when you look at it from My Computer. Any suggestions? Thanks

I found the answer doing what it says on this web page from Product Support Services. This will fix this problem of a Autocorrect Error Message.
