Ok we are working with NT 4.0 sp6a boxes, I don't remember the hardware specs. They were running AutoCAD LT 2002 and AutoDesk Architectural Desktop 3.3 up until we upgraded their server to SBS 2000. Now when you exit out of either of the autocad applications the process aclt.exe does not end for about 4-5 minutes. This of course makes it so that no one can shutdown their computer right away. We have tried reintsalling the autoCAD programs, logging on as the local administrator account, and tried doing a CTRL ALT Delete. When we try to end the process it still sits there for 4-5 minutes trying to end the process.

Sounds like a SBS 2000 issue. Are the drawings stored on this server? Explorer has issues at times with shutting down.

hmmmm the drawings are stored on the server. Thanks I'll pop back once I get a chance to test that.
