When doing some 'random, unstructured testing' of the VMro system on my 4.1 IPO 406 system, I made call after call to a number that was tied (via ICR) to an AA that starts with 'thanks for calling ...'. There were no other users on the system at the time, and it was late. I would hang up before the AA went any further, wait at least 10 seconds for good measure, then redial.
I noticed in each case, the VM resource count went from 0 to 1 (as did the 'data' count). But on more than one occasion, I heard 'nothing' .. silence. I would hang up and redial, and hear the 'thanks for calling...' the next time. I know outside callers are just going to assume they made a mistake and try again, but I was hitting redial each time. The system was definitely answering as the VM and data resource counts were changing. The VM server is well endowed and under-utilized so it's not a resource constraint on the server itself. Is this an issue that others have run into?
