Auto-updating a field after edit

Hi,

I have a db of a development log. I want to have a field which when edited automatically puts in the date and time of the edit.

I have been trying to use the AfterUpdate in the Properties but it doesn't seem to work.

Any suggestions very welcome.

I'd try to detect the update based on when the specified field loses the focus.
