Is there a way to auto-start an access program from the .mdb file

What do you mean, Are you just trying to get the code etc to fire when you open the database or are you trying ot ge tth edatabas eto run when the user logs on ?

I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by

I'm trying to get the .mdb file to run like a program when I double-click he.mdb

Why not just create a shortcut to the file - you can always re-name it if you want to mask what it actually is.

Other than that, MSExcel has a "Startup" folder and any files in there will be opened when MSExcel is opened. I'm no Access expert but it may have a similar setup - worth investigating the possibility I would've thought....
