Question,
I am moving MDeamon to a new machine and understand the process to copy the accounts. Problem is that the new machine has a user and password that has to be entered before MDeamon will start.
I want it to auto start in case of a power outage over a weekend.
Any Ideas?

I'm not sure about this, but if you install Mdaemon as a service it should do what you want. It's been so long since I installed MDaemon, I don't really remember. But I do know that mine restarts when I reboot, and I have it in as a service.

There is a menu option, to install the MDaemon service. I'm not at work, so I can't tell you exactly where it is.

the MDaemon , as far as I have seen , works only od Server installations [Win2000, 2003 server or NT4]. or it may work [not tested!] if you have an internal DNS specified.

So when you power up your PC it boots to windows and the Daemon is set-up as Service thus starting no matter if you are logged in or not.

The power-loss problem you can solve by enabling the Priorboot state to PowerON in BIOS .That enables the PC to poweon in case of power falure.

The Daemon is started up and you can't see it , it's a Service but what you see on your screen is the Windows Logon welcome screen waiting for username/password.

So that's that ...
if the Daemon is not registered as a service run the setup [installation] of Mdaemon again over the one installed and it will set it up as a service [win2k, win2k3 server or NT4 as i said must be installed]
