I am using CCM 4.2.3. I have the server set for auto-registration. I am giving out 10 phone numbers. I plugged in all 10 IP phones and I get a phone number. If I bring in an 11th IP phone, delete the other 10 phones that are already there, the 11th phone does not get a phone number. i found an article from Cisco which said to check "disable auto registration" then update, then uncheck " disable auto registration" put back in the same phone numbers and it will work. well it doesnt work. If I delete the phones from the call manager I can never use those same 10 numbers again. it appears the database is not releasing those 10 numbers. does anybody know what i can do to release the 10 phone numbers?

thanks.

Route plan -> route Plan report -> Find unassigned DN.

Delete all.

You can assign a bigger range of auto reg so you don't have to do this all the time.

I agree with WhyKap that you should add a larger range. With a limited amount of ip phones this should be no problem to maintain.
