auto redirected page...

Hello!

How do I redirect a page to "the real" one?

Here's how I want it to work.... When people click my link they come to a page on a different server (don't ask me why) and then I want them to be redirected automatically to the new page. I've seen this many times, when pages have moved and so. Any clue how to do this?

Hi there,

Use a meta tag in the page you want to be redirected from.

<META HTTP-EQUIV=&quot;REFRESH&quot; CONTENT=&quot;time;

http://www.wherever.com&quot;>

The above will redirect to

http://www.whereever.com

after the specified time (use 0 to redirect immediately).

If you are using dreamweaver:-

Press &quot;insert&quot; then &quot;head tags&quot; then &quot;refresh&quot;

Make sure you put the whole url, such as

http://www.turtlehead.com.

I've found it doesn't hurt to also make sure you name, meta tag and put a title on this page even if you are redirecting straight away to help with search engines ranking.
