Hi,
I'm looking for a tool that works like 'PURGE /A' but purges only files were be deleted x days ago (i.e. 'PURGE /A /DAYS=7')

(the last time, I uses 'PURGE /A', it purges over 200.000 files an the next day I needed two of them!)

ciao
Frank

I guess I don't understand... the command should be...

"purge /a /d=7" at the server console if you have TOOLBOX.NLM loaded. To automate it, you can download the CRON utility (support.novell.com - simply search for CRON or CRON.NLM) and set it up to run whenever you want.

You can use Toolbox + Cron to automate all sorts of tedious tasks...
