Hello everyone.

I have a 43P-140 and I was wondering something.

Is there a way to have the box automatically power up after power has been restored from a power failure? I can't seem to find that option anywhere. What I have to do right now is.. I manually have to hit the power button.

Thanks in advance!!

I'm going to assume that's a workstation. I don't have one of those, but there might be an option for that in the service processor config (again, assuming that model has one). You'll have to shut down to get to that point though.

My opinion on that topic, especially if it's a server, is that I *don't want* a machine to come back up automatically after a reboot. I want to be there to watch it as it comes back up and make sure everything is ok, particularly if it wasn't shutdown properly.

Well. the 43P is classified as a workstation.. but I'm using it as a test server. When I'm away for weeks at a time.. and the power goes out... I have no way of bring the system back online. Thanks for the idea of looking at the Service Processor Config. I'll check that out tonight!

Thanks again,
