Auto populating a table

Is there a quick way to enter data into a table that involves a range? For example, I need to enter into a table several inventory locations like A1, A2 through A142. Is there a command to populate the table with A1 through A142 without typing each individually. Using Access 2003.

Thanks a lot for any help.

Aceman--thanks for the reply. I'm assuming I have to enter a command in the append query to get the result I need. What operator/function do I need to include?

I started building the query and wound up [blue]3 subqueries deep.[/blue] Problem is the [purple]series you desire appears in too many places[/purple] and you have to modify them all when the series changes (your trying to get away from typing!). So I'm gonna abandon the direct Insert Query and turn to VBA (can do it much easier there and make checks I can't perform directly in the query).

To make things easier its going to require a [blue]form with 3 texboxes[/blue] ([purple]preText[/purple], [purple]starting number[/purple], [purple]ending number[/purple]) and a [blue]command button[/blue] for execution.

If you want to continue with this, post back the table & field name you intend to use, and if the series given in your post origination is not an actual example, provide that as well.

Also what type is the PrimaryKey of the table ?
