Auto Message Waiting

Hi,
I have assigned an aut-msg-wt to a button position on a 4621sw. When meesages are left in voice mail the button on the phone dose not lite.

Delete the aut-msg-wt button. Delete any new messages in the mailbox. Re-add the aut-msg-wt button.

If there are new messages in the mailbox when the button is added, the system thinks that the light is already on and will not light it.

Hey Susan,
Thank you.....it did not work. I did make sure the aut-msg-wt button was removed and all messages from the audix mail box also, them replaced the button. Anything more to suggest?

Hiya...

What version of software are you on? I'm on Version 14 and to get the voicemail lamp to light up when a message has been left, I have to make sure that on Page 2 of the Station settings I set 'LWC Reception' to read 'audix' and 'Audix Name' to read 'INT_LX'.

Once you make the changes though you do need to do what Susan has said and delete any messages on the station. This seems to make it work again.

Hey Donna X,
Thank you. I have V13. I am unable to cahnge Audix Name to INT_LX. The station that has the voice mail that I want to aut-msg-wt onto other stations is a virtual. Does that make a difference?
