Auto insert into Roles

Hi,
I'm looking for a way to Auto insert a "NEW" employee into a designed Role depending on their discipline.
I am building a mobile phone construction DB.
There are 6 main user Roles (Not yet designed): RF, Transmission, Acquisiton, Construction etc etc.
When a "New" person is entered into the personnel section a user profile is built, depending on the Region, Zone and discipline. eg NORMANRF (North, Manchester, Radio Frequency) What I am looking for is an SP_ that will auto asign them to a certain Role depending on Right(UserProfile,2).
Any help will be most apreciated.
