We upgraded to J1 2.01 (R7) recently. We began getting complaints of calls being cut off when a second call came in. Upon testing, I found I could make an outbound call using a shared virtual line, and when receiving a call on the personal D.I.D on the same phone the 1st call loses contact with it's party, and gets a quiet tone burst 5x. I can hit hold, address the second call and return to my held line and resume conversation (if the other party didn't hang up thinking they were disconnected). How/where can I disable this feature? Thanks

Automatic hold is CMD 1358 by individual station.
I would use PCPro to revert back to the previous software version and test it again. It has the "bug" like look to it.

Thank you for the response. I called it 'auto hold' just because the user takes no action, it's not actually that feature. I changed CMD 1358, it had no effect. I found that any call (including internal) made from the virtual will be interrupted by an incoming external call to the D.I.D extension. I did not revert back to the previous software (yet), I was hoping for some other suggestions.

If that did not happen with the older software and nothing was changed then I'd suspect a bug. The only other thing I can think of is that a setting was changed in the new software to a new default.

We have 6 remote 8300s off our 2400UMG, only 1 is acting up. We might go back to the older software overnight Monday, but if was a setting change we'll never know for sure what the cause was.
