auto generate reports in crystal reports?

Hi all,
I’m new in this so any help will be very helpful. I would like user to generate all the invoices with in a date range. Basically, each invoice number should be displayed on 1 page, and all the data related to it. So if the date rage has 100 invoices, each invoice should be on separate page displaying the lines, pictures and drawings that i have made as well as the records related to the invoice number. Im using only one database, so i get all the records as i should, just i don’t get the invoices automatically generated.

Group by the invoice number and right click the group footer and select section expert and select the new page after check box.

Now each invoice will have it's own page.

As for the date range, create a date range parameter and in the Report->Selection Formula-REcord place:

{table.date} = {?MyDateRangeParameter}

Thanks a lot I managed to solve part of the problem. Namely I get the invoices on separate page, but the Page Header is not showing on each page. Can this be somehow sorted out. By the way I use VS.net 2003 with crystal reports 9

It should display on each page unless you're speaking of a subreport page header.

Make sure that you don't have any suppression set on the page header, and that you aren't speaking of the Report Header, they're different things.

If you are referring to the Group Header, then in the group options, turn on the "Repeat Group Header on each Page" option.
