I'm glad I found this thread. I've been trying to setup one of our user to have her email forwarded to a yahoo account. This employee will be telecommuting from home for the next 3 months and she wants her emails to be forwarded to her yahoo email.

We have MS Exchange on the server and Outlook 2002 on the client side.

Thanks,
VA

Click Tools > Out of Office assistant and add a rule.
Within the rule you may forward to someone@yahoo.com

I tried that but its not receiving on my msn account. However, there are 2 mails I received in my office outlook; must have been the 'forward to'. I checked the address of the 'forward to' on my oooa rule and its my msn email.

Anything I'm missed?

VA

did you set oooa to Out of Office.

I'm sure you did but have to ask anyway.

yes, its set to 'I'm currently Out of the Office'

A problem like this is addressed in some other threads I've seen lately. It's a setting in Exchange related to forwarding outside the network. I don't use Exchange, so I can't explain it any better than that.
