I don't have any clue where to start. I would like to use a PC-based auto dial feature with my Merlin Legend system, and I understand this can be done using an analog port and a modem in my PC.
I currently hold a copy of "View Call Plus" software that is intended to work on my PC for auto dialing, so I should be set on the software end.
I just need to know the basics of what wires to connect to what, and how to program the Legend system to do the auto dialing. (i.e., Do I have to link the analog port that my modem is plugged into to my digital extension somehow?)
I have Legend 7.1 Processor and a MLX-16DP digital phone.
If anyone knows of a place where I can get more info, that would be great too.
