Hi All,

Anybody knows how to auto detach an attachment in Notes 6.5?

Thanx.

Are you thinking of selecting a number of documents and clicking a button somewhere to have everything attached go there ?
That is quite feasible. Write an LS agent that gets the document handle, checks to see if there are any attachments, and detaches them.
Of course, this supposes that you have the output path defined somewhere, or entered on execution time.

Is this what you are thinking of ?

Hi Pmonett,

Do you have a simple script that I can start with? What I was looking to do is automatically detach an attachment sent by the same user on a regular basis. I was looking to detach the file upon delivery in my notes mailbox and then run a automated script through windows to upload it to a webserver. Or with the script I can detach it directly to the webserver, which is a mapped network drive on my pc.

Detaching to a webserver is feasible, I think. To a workstation is definitely not possible.

Agents for managing file attachments are legion - I'll post one today.

Pascal.
