Hello everyone,

I previously asked about being able to barge on mobile twinned calls, which users here really helpfully mentioned switching to soft phones. Unfortunately our agency isn't at the capacity to make that swap right now (lots of older staff that would require a lot of training on how to answer phones). We're trying to see if it's possible to barge/intrude on calls for remote users. We're able to barge on calls that are at the physical desk phone, but weren't sure what the best way to do so for remote users.

I'm wondering if it's possible to automatically conference an incoming call with a remote user's mobile phone as well as the physical desk phone (allowing us to barge on the physical desk phone), or possibly somehow duplicate the call on both the physical phone and the mobile phone to make this possible? Any leads for how to easily conference incoming calls to both the physical phone and a remote user's mobile phone would be amazing. Thank you very much!

For further context: our current setup is mobile twinning via One-X Portal. I'm just looking to see if there's a simple way to automatically conference the desk phone when the mobile phone answers (or any variation that would allow for a conference call with an incoming caller).

Thank you for your response -- how might we go about using a VPN to simulate desk phones?

If you have IP phones 96xx. You can setup a vpn on these phones to connect to your firewall.
It would be as you are using it on office with all features.

If you look here in this forum you will find a lot of documents floating around for the various types of firewalls as every firewall is a bit different in setup and then the phones need a slightly different setup sometimes too.
