Auto capitalization of new lines 1

My mail editor in Outlook is Word. When I am typing nd press <ENTER> and continue typing, it automatically caps the first letter, even if I am mid-sentence.

How can I disable this?

If you're referring to capitalization of the first letter of the sentence, this can be de-activated by using (from the menu: Tools - AutoCorrect. Then un-check &quot;Capitalize first letter of sentences.

Don't type return at the end of each line as Word will word-wrap!
But if you must press return, press shift+return instead to insert a soft return. This will cause no further initial capitalisation until you type a period followed by return. Barborne

Sometimes it is necessary, listing items and so forth. It was a third party question, and I thought the same thing until he showed me what he was trying, it made sense then.
