Auto Attendent

Hello. I would like to set up my Auto Attendent so that out customers can call into one main number and be prompted by the auto attendent. Do I just need to make one of my extension an auto attendent extension and then give the customers the DID number?

ok I found that the auto config sets up 7929 as the automated extension. I will need to translatye my DID to this. how many calls can the auto attendent handle at a time? I have a 6 port card

6 port system can take 6 calls at a time including any inside calls checking voice mail. TipHelp@charter.net
