Hello,

I ve the following setup IP office 500 & IP office Manager V7.0

1 Huntgroup call it XXX
2 Incoming Call Routes which have destination the huntgroup XXX

A person who is calling, after some time will hear an announcement if any member of the huntgroup not answering the call, and after a few seconds the prompt to leave a voice mail is played.

I want to configure an AA during the day and be able to disable it using a feature code.

The AA will be used only to leave a voicemail message to the huntgroup XXX and nothing else.

Is this possible ?
 
I forgot to tell you i am using embedded voice mail by the way[pc2]
 
Make a shortcode to the AA

Make a virtual user. Forward the user uncondtional to the shortcode. enable forward huntgroup calls

Make a huntgroup, type sequential. Disable VM and annoucements. Put virtual user in this huntgroup.

Overflow huntgroup xxx to the huntgroup after 20 seconds.

what is the correct syntax to create a SC in order to access the AA ?

I 've created the shortcode lets say *71
then select feature Auto attendant in the telephone field do i need to add anything ?
 
In the ICR i will ve as destination the HG which has the phantom user and fallback the xxx huntgroup ?

am i correct ?

 
There is a help in the manager, on most computers it is the F1 key but yours might be different, maybe it is called "HELP!

I 've managed to create the AA using a shortcode.

Created a virtual user which forward the uncondtional to the AA. I 've enabled forward huntgroup calls as well

Created a huntgroup, type sequential. Disable VM and annoucements. Added the virtual user in this huntgroup.

I 've overflowed my main huntgroup xxx to the huntgroup with the virtual user after 20 seconds.


I ve created two button to enable or disable the huntgroup (not the xxx huntgroup )

At the moment when an incoming call is coming it is routed to AA when the huntgroup with the virtual user is enabled, after this a recorded message is played and nothing happens.

I want to be able to leave a voice mail some how after the AA message is finished, but i don't know how to configure it.

Can you give me a hint ???


 
Anyone knows how can i transfer from auto attendant to voice mail please ????

Ok and who told you i am not a technical user, i ve certifications in many areas of networking Cisco/Juniper i ve also experience with Avaya communication manager and S8500/S8300 servers but not with ip office at all.

Due to unemployemt reasons i am a freelancer now, and i cannot tell to a customer with 15 employees to pay 1000 eyros for assistance from a local business partner.

Anyway thanks for your help.
