I have a LinkSys PAP2T converting SIP Voip into Pots lines - the lines are going into my Partner version 6.0

If the Auto-Attendant answers, and the call drops before someone physically answers at an extension, the VM system is not releasing the line... it does not seem to "hear" the end of call signal, voltage drop, etc...

Is there some way to adjust either the LinksSYS ata box or the Partner System to resolve this?

The Partner is not seeing a "Positive Disconnect" (momentary loss of voltage) from the Linksys. So, the Partner thinks that the call is still in progress.

Yes - what is the fix for this?? I just switched to a Linksys SPA 2102 and it does the same thing.

What settings do I change in the Avaya partner to make it sense this "Positive Disconnect"??

I was able to find another posting searching your terms "Positive Disconnect" .... other post said I need to change the CPC time- I changed from "0" to "2" and it works..!!!!

Thanks so much....

Thread can be closed, if there is such a thing... Thanks again.

I'm not familiar with Linksys programming [purpleface]. But it is good news that the Linksys does have the ability to generate a proper signal for the Partner![bigsmile]
