Hey all,
I am a CM girl working on my first IPO. I need to know IF this can be done. Can I have a recording played after an option is selected? example:
for Mary at extension 200 press 1... I want it to say "for mary press 1" then the call is transferred but before the transfer it says " transferring you to mary extension 200

The first response has to be "What type of voicemail server?"

- Embedded Voicemail = No.

- Voicemail Pro = Yes.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Awesome thank you We have VM Pro, I will assume the auto attendant uses a license, do you know if the additional recordings for transfers or anything else are going to use up any licenses? they are very limited so I dont want to make any promises. thanks!!!

You just need preferred edition and Voicemail channels licensed for the number of call that are in Voicemail simultaneously.

Just add a generic action between the menu action and the transfer action that plays the announcement.

Need some help with IP Office? CLI based cale blocking: SCN fallback over PSTN:

or add the extra prompts to the start the Transfer actions settings. Certainly a "Transferring to" prompt followed by $KEY as prompt name will speak "Transferring to 220" or whatever extension number.

Need to work out how to do the name part but likely to be possible.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
