Auto Attendant not reconizinging tones from the UK

On some phones in the UK the tones sent when a button is pressed is not being picked up our Auto Attendant.

Has anyone else heard of this happening and what might be done to correct.

To recap on some phones in the UK pressing 1 is not being reconized by the auto attendant. However if you use another phone then the tone is reconzied. And just to confusse everyone, The Avaya phones in the UK are not being reconzied.

What version are you running on the IPO?
Are u using analog lines?

Sounds like the old 3.2.999 loader step issue to me, Do these phones plug in a DS30 or DS16 expansion module?

Yes the calls coming into the UK office would be on an Analogue line.

The main unit is an IP406 and the remote unit is a IP401
