Alright so our Auto Attendant has some old prompts in it. Since we've downsized a lot the past few years, a few companies or departments mentioned are no longer in existence. The following message is the main prior to pressing any keys.

[qoute]Welcome to xxxxxxxx. If you know your party's extension, please dial it now. If you know your party's last name press 1 and the first 3 letters of their last name. For operator assistance, press 0 now. For more options please press 3 now.

For Dept 1, Press 1 Now
For Dept 2, Press 2 Now

Etc Etc.[/quote]

Where to I go to re-record the prompt? And how to kill off the programming associated with a few of those departments?

This is a first for me. Thanks.

You have MM. Look at your VSDN tables. Also you will have a VSDN for Voice Maintenance this is the DN used to call then go to a Menu or Announcement Service to change/re-record the verbage. In the Menu Service screen you will see which key to "press" for which option you have set up so you can either delete than function or "edit" it. You may have passwords associated to each of your menu or announcement services so you will need them handy. Hope that helps

Well I found the manual that goes over this stuff. Talk about confusing...I'll see what I can do.

Let us know how you're doing. I can help more when I'm in front of the terminal.

well u have mm 10 as u said and u talk about manue , u have to go to the mm terminal go to option voice administration then look for the dn table .
this manue is MS 4000 for example when u fins the ms dn u can press space bar then enter and can see what u have to dial in each part of the message like press 1 go to dn 4320 .
u also have to look for PM 5000 which means :
u dial 5000 then u dial the 4000 MS then u can record again.
