Running Merlin Legend System with Merlin Mail. I run two businesses at the same office, with two separate autoattendants. The first autoattendant is quote complex, with several extensions and actions, and a dedicated operator. I am trying to set up the second autoattendant, which is much simpler. All I need is for AA2 to answer, say that no reps are available, and to hold on the line or press 0 to get to a message box. The only extension that should take messages or respond to the "0" command should be ext. 24. I have AA2 set up, but cannot figure out how to change the default timeout/"0" action, which is currently set to go to the call operator. Any thoughts? Hopefully this is clear.

Thank you in advance.

When setting up the AA, she will prompt you to "Enter the Selector code from 1 to 9, just dial *# at that point and she will then prompt for "THE DAY/NIGHT TIME OUT IS ..."

Change that, that is the DIAL ZERO and TIME OUT option...

Thanks for the info. So it looks like my only choices are to send to the operator (0), go to the general voicemail, or disconnect. Is there no way to send to a specific extension instead of the operator? The documentation looks like the answer is no, just checking if there is some kind of backdoor. Thanks again.

Yes, you can send it to a specific extension, she calls it "Selector Code Transfer". When you pick that option, you are then prompted for the extension that you want the call sent to.
